a matter of FAQs

While we're busy preparing for the wedding, doing fun (planning for the honeymoon, putting ribbons on jars, shopping for our wedding outfits) and the not-so-fun stuff (paperwork, spending, working so we have money to spend), we've been bombarded with questions from you, our guests! So here are our answers to some of your FAQs:

What should we wear?
Well, on the invite it says "casual." So you can practically wear jeans or your pambahay daster! But if you want to up the ante, then go ahead and wear something dressier. We suggest that you refrain from wearing ankle-length frocks; remember, this is a garden wedding and you don't want the hems to drag on the grass. Make sure you wear something cool and comfy--not too hot for an outdoor event. For guys--slacks, jeans, long shorts--whatever you feel comfy in. You can ever wear a dress if you want to.

Why is there no church indicated on the invite?
That's because it's a civil wedding. Don't you just love it when you only have to go to one venue? It saves on time, gas, and effort. Oh, and it also saves the environment.

Are you under any bridal registry?
Nope. Surprise us with your gifts (or non-gifts)!

Do I really have to RSVP?
Yes, you do. Since it's a smallish wedding, we have a limited number of guests. So confirming whether or not you're coming will help us A LOT in finalizing, not just our guest list, but also seating and food arrangements, etc.

Why are you getting married? (My 7-year-old nephew Lance asked me this.)
Because we love each other.

So come one, come all to Casa Espanol on June 12, 2010 (Saturday) at 430 pm. Ok, to make directions easier--if you're coming from SM North Edsa and you're on Mindanao Avenue, turn right before KFC (you'll see the First Options car repair shop there), then turn left. You'll see a gated subdivision and you can just ask the friendly guard where Casa Espanol is. See you!
